We moved into the farmhouse a few weeks ago, at last! It was bitter sweet leaving our home in the big city of Salt Lake but we are thoroughly enjoying settling into the farmhouse. Lanning has spent his days sawing and hauling lumber and debris, scrap metal etc that is strewn all over the property. I've loved waking up each morning to the peaceful sounds of nature and roaming the once abandoned property discovering perennials that have probably been here for decades sprouting up amidst the debris. Henry has loved exploring his new surroundings and has particularly taken a liking to sticks, rocks and dirt! We love our little country boy.

ReplyDeleteWhoa cool...where exactly is this farmhouse? My living situation is quite the opposite and worry when Samantha gets old enough to wonder why all she has is concrete around her home instead of a fun yard. Hopefully we'll be long gone by then!
