Balloons
Lanning received a bunch of balloons for his birthday a week ago and so they've been a source of much joy and entertainment for Henry! He even says "balloon" now (well sort of!) We thought it'd be fun to let some of them go outside and watch them float away...it was even more fun than we anticipated. We let them all go one by one except for the one lone balloon that is still stuck in the highest crevice of our ceiling inside the house. Several times a day Henry likes to point at it and say "balloon." It's so delightful to see life through the eyes of a child every now and then!

I love to watch a child discover something for the first time especially something so simple as a balloon. I remember the first time Emma touched grass. The look on her face was hilarious. She did not like it at all. I can just imagine Henry's face looking up at the balloon. So cute!
