The biology department went on a trip to the Galapagos Islands for nearly 2 weeks so Lanning got to go. We were excited for his adventures but missed him a lot! We tried to stay busy while he was gone. We were able to learn how to make sand cherry jelly and syrup with our neighbor the morning he left. Later that night the kids and i went to our hometeacher's wedding reception. The kids loved the cake and they also had a fun playground to play on. Fun night.

Nathan and Lexi!
The kids "helped" me in the kitchen.
Made a trip to the library and played with their fun new car mat and toys.
Henry got a bunch of "singing bugs" (dot stickers at primary) for singing in sharing time. He wore them for several days afterwards too!
Henry couldn't wait to show daddy the zombie book he checked out at the library(it is actually really educational about human anatomy)
Louise likes to hang out in the chair by the computer
We cleaned up the house in Ririe
Picked apples at Lowder Slough and watered all the new trees
Saw 9 wild turkeys roaming around the yard
Went to Utah and played with friends and family. Lizzy spend A LOT of time on the swings!
We spent hours and hours playing in grandma's basement. Mostly because the kids love it down there but partly because we were all sick for most of the trip
Louise couldn't resist climbing the stairs over and over again, she still gets too excited to come down at turbo speed so it's a bit dangerous! (we don't have stairs at our house so it was good practice)
Not sure what she is thinking in this photo:
Hiding from the camera:
Henry loves playing with uncle Anthony's old He-Men
We had fun with the cousins. Cousin Ruby sure takes the little ones under her wings.
Played a lot of candy land
she's a silly one even when she's sick!
We went on a very fun walk down grandma's street to see the horses
I thought louise was safely seatbelted in the wagon until i looked back to see her standing up while i was pulling them. turns out her seatbelt was so old it disintegrated and she escaped!
We were all ready for Daddy to come home!!!
