We got our very first smart phone. It's been fun taking pictures with it. I think the best part is the kids inherited our old flip phones and they love taking photos with those.
The kids like to go to "box elder bug island" as they call it. It's just down the sidewalk from our house by a big tree where there are lots of box elder bugs to find.
Lanning loves to take the kids to Fat Cats on his bike one at a time, but one night we all went and played in their arcade. Louise became fast friends with Kermit the Frog.

Poor Lizzy accidentally cut her finger on an exacto knife and had to get 5 stitches. She did so well holding still, but afterward she said "i did NOT like getting the medicine(the local antisethetic)"
She was much happier after it was all bandaged up and she got to have some pink ice cream!
