Watching children discover the world around them is so humbling. Henry discovered a ladybug crawling around the house. He said "ladybug going through the fields, waking up the cows:)" He is starting to use his imagination now and it is so fun. He loved watching the ladybug, but apprehensively kept his distance. Lizzy on the other hand has a special interest in anything little and kept grabbing the unassuming ladybug, intrigued that it would crawl away as she'd reach for it. Later in the day i vacuumed, forgetting about the ladybug. When i remembered i was so worried that i vacuumed her up...but much to our delight Henry found her safely climbing on a toy so we got to play with our little ladybug friend again. Oh the simple joys!!!
So cute! I love Henry's imagination. It seems like such a smart thing to do at his age. It is so fun to watch a baby's reaction to something they're seeing for the first time.
