Our friends turned their home into "The Black Cat Cafe" and invited us over for a festive lunch complete with a green-faced witch (aka Stephanie) and her cute helpers (Franchesca, Gabriella, and baby Samuel). She made homemade root beer that the kids LOVED and also let the kids make their own pumpkin-shaped pizzas. Fun times with the Torres family!
Later we took the kids trick-or-treating in our neighborhood for the first time. It was fun going door to door but i think we caught most everyone off guard. It was like a ghost-town and no one was really expecting visitors...the kids were happy with the oreo, granola bar, and fruit snacks they got though:) We will have to try a different neighborhood next year:)
The night ended with a fun gathering at the Baker's. Lots of yummy food, treats and fun games! The kids were in heaven (and so were the adults!)
Em, it looks like you had a great Halloween. The donut movie was hilarious and how funny to go trick or treating when no one is expecting you. Hope all is well!
