One of our favorite family traditions is having a cattail party! After Halloween we gather all the cattails we can and have a little celebration with them! We love letting the cattail fluff ...or whatever that white snowy stuff inside of them is called...float, and fly around in the air. This year the kids brought a bunch home from the river and let them go in our yard. I'm sure the neighbors are wondering what in the world is all over our lawn!
You are so fun Em. My kids would love it if we could have a cattail party. The other day Lindsey and Christian were making a mess of them outside and I saw some floating toward the house. I hurried and shut the door and made sure they cleaned off before they came inside. I was so worried about the mess that I missed the fun of it. I think I have a problem with messes and I didn't know it until now.
